Halifax, Nova Scotia (The North End) City Illustration
The Hydrostone neighbourhood in the North end of Halifax, designed to provide housing for displaced working-class families during the Halifax Explosion in 1917. The neighbourhood draws it's name from the special cinderblocks from which the houses were constructed.
Our 8x10 and 13x19 prints are printed on thick, bright white matte cardstock using dye based ink to produce vivid, long-lasting prints. They are shipped flat on a sturdy white backing board ready for framing. The larger 18x24 and 24x36 prints are printed on a bright white photo paper with a satin finish that offers a little bit of shine to enhance the maps. They are shipped rolled in a sturdy mailing tube.
Prints are sold unframed.
